Nigel Byrnes Black Belt Grading 02/07/2010
Dear members, on friday the 2nd of July 2010 Mr Nigel byrne took part in his Black Belt grading and was successful in achiving his first degree. It was a very hard test and was split into four different sections........physical stamina , forms , techniques & fighting.
Due to his high level of fitness and his constant training & attendence in class it really paid off and Mr Byrne was a worthy recipent of his 1st degree. Its has been six years of hard work but it has been worth it in the end.
Mr Byrne recieved his award from his teacher Mr Jason O Keeffe 6th degree & head of irishkenpo.com at the clubhouse in Coolock on the night.
Many thanks to all who took part in the grading on the night and to all those who travelled from Ballinteer and especially Mr David Breen who had the unfortunate job of been Nigels "dummy" for the night......hope you heal up soon!
